Présentation du projet

The concept reflects the desire to reinforce the relationship between the existing and future administrative buildings: Le Château, the castle building, the new Office wing and the existing bake-house. The resulting urban constellation generates a central outdoor space that serves as a public reference point. The urban concept is to create a “village square” that orients the visitor and provides an interaction point. The contemporary architecture of the new building uses its geometry and materiality to create a contrasting dialogue with the existing historical buildings. By detaching itself, the new construction does not compromise the historical qualities of the “Château”. This autonomy offers total freedom in the planning of the internal spaces more suited to modern office layouts.
